Prayers of my Heart

As I am starting out today there is something that has been on my heart and mind since back in March. I have been praying for a purging within myself, the lives of my friends and also for Ceta Canyon (so that we can walk out our missions statement "A Special Place Where God is Experienced and Lives are Changed"). I love camp so much and I love everyone that the Lord has so graciously placed in my life. I want to see everyone who I come into contact with succeed in their walk with the Lord and to come to perfect completion. I want to share these verses that the Lord has given me and please know I am praying them over you and also for myself. Please pray too as the Lord leads!

Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness. Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master's use, prepared unto every good work.

“If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. Lord, I pray that you will purge us and make us a generation that brings You glory and honor! I desire to be a vessel that bring You honor!
