My Car is Home!

Yay! My car is home and it appears to be fixed! I drove it home from Alamogordo after church and it made it the entire way! We stopped in Cloudcroft and checked to make sure there was no leaking and there wasn't. When I got home we checked it one more time and it still wasn't leaking. :) I am so thankful to have my car back and to have freedom restored! :) I am excited to be able to get out and explore the new area that I am living in.

My Car is Going to the Car Doctor

Today we took my car into the shop or I should say that Aaron took in my car to the shop and I went with him and his family. This is the first time that my car has ever gone to the shop on a trailer and I am praying that it can be fixed!

It broke the night we drove into camp when I moved up to SMA. We didn't know it at the time but it overheated when a friend from camp and I went into town. We weren't even halfway there when it started acting up. When they came to get the car they had noticed that my car spilled out most of my radiator fluid at camp where I had parked the night before when I let them know I had made it. We didn't notice it then because it was dark. Thankfully my friend was with me because she had a cell phone that actually worked in the mountains. :) God is so good!

Wreckless - 4th Birthday

Happy 4th Birthday to my sweet pup Wreckless! It is so hard to believe that Wreckless is 4 years old already. I have been waiting for this day because I have been told multiple times that my little blessing in disguise would calm down and be the best pup ever. He has appeared to calm down a bit and he is easier to manage now. He has become a really good pup and is very sensitive to his surroundings. I think if he had some good training he would be really good for someone who is handy cap. When I have been sick he follows me all around and watches me very closely (he has also done that when my Grandma has been sick too). :) He loves to cuddle and thinks at times that he is a lap dog and sadly he is a really big lap dog but I don't mind. I love it when he wants to cuddle with me.

Wreckless the night I got him
(isn't he so tiny and cute)

Wreckless always wanted to be where I was.
Here he is helping me make the bed.
Doesn't it look like he is a big help. :)

Here he is today!
I thought this picture was so funny because of how relaxed he is. :)
(normally he sits really pretty but for some reason he wasn't this time)
Isn't he still such a cute pup!
Wreckless is such a blessing to have! I won't lie those puppy days were tough at times but it was worth it. He is such a sweet pup and has so much fun. I am thankful that the Lord provided him as my pup! He really is "man's best friend". :)

Snow at Sacramento!

Here are some snow pictures from one of the first snows I experienced here which happened during the record breaking temperatures. I was ready to run back to Texas where it was warm at one point when it hit -24 degrees. I am just kidding! :) Come to find out Texas was having a very cold spell too. :) These are pictures around my home and not far from my warm house. They are out the front door and from the deck of the house.
