Pool Opens for the Pups

Crawford Pounding

On the 23rd we had a pounding for the Crawford Family. This is the last one till the next time we have a new staff member again. We have officially caught up with welcoming all of our new staff members.

Matt came to camp to work on landscaping and is a year round full time staff member. He has a precious family. I tried to get pictures of them but they didn't turn out. Matt is in the picture below helping Chapel with the grilling. It has been so much fun to have Matt, Jalie, Sophie, and Elijah on camp. The children are so sweet. Sophie is a bit shy and but she is adjusting and getting to know us now. Elijah is always full of smiles. He is never upset and is always happy. They are living in the house next to the trailers. It has been nice to hang out with Jalie outside when the kids are playing. They have been a wonderful addition to camp.

Summer Staff Arrives

Yippee! Our summer staff has been arriving since the 23rd. They have been doing orientation since last Monday. Half of our staff has arrived and the other half should be arriving soon. We had some high school students who needed to finish school and were last week.

The staff we have already been working with has been great. They are sweet and a lot of fun to be around. They tackle any task given and accomplish it with amazing speed. It will be exciting to see how this summer will play out. They are a good group of people and summer is soon to arrive. :)

Chapel's Pounding

Chapel is the young woman in the middle. She came to camp in October and is my next door neighbor (trailer next to me). She works in the office full time and helps with booking our groups and taking care of them when they come into camp. She is a sweet young lady with a joyful personality. The 2 people with her in the picture are part of a family that she has built a wonderful relationship with and she spends many nights at their home and goes to church with them. They are a second family to her and they have blessed her life so much. I am so thankful the Lord has blessed her so much with this relationship. It really has helped her to adjust to life here at Ceta.
